About

Bolton Art Collective is an initiative between two friends who are neighbors in Baltimore City, Maryland. Bolton Hill is the neighborhood; and the garden park on Bolton Street happens to be the original meeting place to discuss creative ideas with coffee in hand on a sunny day.

An art collective is a group of artists who own and manage their independent artworks and client roster but come together to work on larger projects. Often times, art collectives have members spanning in various industry experiences and vast skillsets.

And that’s what we do. We come together in person or virtually to join forces and share artistic resources.

Feedback

From Artists and Clients

Modern Short Burst Frame Thin Outline

Several years ago Jessi connected me with my first client in a niche market that I still create art for today. She was able to make a successful referral because she knew my skillset and the services I offer as well as understand the client’s request. I fulfilled my first commission and I am forever grateful for her help in sourcing the connection. I look forward to continuing to build repertoire with other clients.

Jessi helped me meet artist Judy. I wanted a specific art piece to gift. Though Judy was in a different state, she completed my commission and carefully delivered the work across state lines. Most importantly, the gift of art was well received.

Kat and I went to art school in our youth. We continue to stay friends and as art colleagues. She visits my studio and we also meet up for meals with our conversation topics about how to how to grow as an artist.

Unlike setting up a formal business, there's no major commitment to be a member of an art collective. It can be as simple as having a conversation with a fellow creator and deciding to work on a ‘something’ together. That ‘something’ then goes well and kindles a spark for future visionary endeavors.

At Bolton Art Collective, we keep it simple. If you’re creative, you can join! Member dues are:

$15 for the year ($1.25/per month) - your name and short Bio will be on the Artist Members page

$25 for the year - The above and your the artist website gets added to the Portfolios page
